The Forney 30689 7018 AC Mild Steel Low Hydrogen Welding Rod produces quality results on lower amperage welders. Suitable for all positions on hard enable steels without pre-heating. Good for cold rolled steels that do not react well with conventional rod. Low hydrogen content reduces cracking and peeling of weld material. 5/32-Inch ie.3.96 mm diameter rod. 5-Pounds ie.2.26 kg. The next two numbers ie.60, 70 or 80 indicates the tensile strength of the rod for example 60,000.
