Everest in action: <b><i> Leg Angle. </i></b> Pull out the Leg Angle Lever to the end, stop and lift the leg to the desired angle for placement. Slowly lower the leg. The Leg Angle Latch will automatically snap-lock to the next angle stop. You can quickly set the leg splay to your specific preference. <b><i> Leg Length and Extension. </i></b> The tripod leg length can be set to any extension. Twist the leg lock clockwise to loosen the grip. Slide the leg to any extension and lock it in place by twisting the leg lock firmly counterclockwise. The mechanism increases the torque as you close the ring to establish a firm, secure hold. <b><i> Two options exist for the use of the Center Column. </i></b> There are several options for the tripod function as a still camera support or a videographerfs dream machine. As a traditional still imaging tripod, the Everest T5 employs a superb center column for steady lift with a twist. Video devices love to work on the level with emotion to capture motion. Our Half-Bowl swivels and sets up to the whim of the user. The traditional center shaft rises and falls at the selection of height. Wind locks are integrated into the center column assemble. The wings rotate counterclockwise and clockwise to control the shaft position. The other choice utilizes the walf-bowl with leveling function or the flat plate. Turn the center assembly locking knob counter-clockwise to unlock the center assembly. The half-bowl leveling replacement for the center column separates with a twist of the column tightening assembly. Use the replaceable column to quickly set the level for video and still imaging devices. The 3/8f post screw is designed for attaching heads, including the 3POD H4 ball head. <b><i> Low Camera Angle Setup. </i></b> Use the tripod without the center column for low angle shots without an interfering center column for freedom from leg angle limitations. <b><i> The half bowl and flat plate options </i></b> are handy for low-angle shots, as most of the center column is removed for the adaptation. Loosen the plate locking knob to remove the head locking plate. Unscrew the center column locking knob by turning the mechanism clockwise. The center column locking knob is located at the bottom end of the column and has a counterweight hook at its terminus. The top camera platform separates from the center column. Draw the column out of the shaped channel. Replace the traditional center column with the leveling half bowl adapter or flat plate and the counterweight mechanism. <b><i> Accessory Tap Holes. </i></b> Accessory items are easily attached to the tripod through the 3/8f and ¼f screw holes on the top of the tripod platform collar. <b>The more you know about Everest, the more nimble the climb. </b>
